CHFP Masters collect medals at American Masters

CHFP Weightlifting sent four athletes to compete at the 2017 American Masters in Savannah, GA. Collectively, the team was on fire successfully making 23/24 attempts while collecting PRs, Masters American records and medals.

Carrie Evavold [90kg/W45] went a perfect 6 for 6 finishing with a Masters American Championship record in the clean and jerk with a best lift of 70kg and a best snatch of 53 kg [Silver] for a 133kg total [Silver].

Heather Krause [75kg/W35] also went 6 for 6 with a best snatch of 60kg [Bronze] and a personal best of 73kg in the C&J for a 133kg total.

John Bova [77kg/M35] pulled double duty as competition coach and athlete going 6/6 and earning a gold medal sweep with best lifts of 95kg [SN] and 131kg [CJ].

Brandon Davis [+105kg/M35] also earned a gold medal sweep with best lifts of 115kg [SN] and 148kg [CJ].
