Dunn, Owens earn Medals, All American honors at University Nationals

CHFP athletes Hannah Dunn and Avery Owens produced strong performances at the 2022 USA Weightlifting National University Championships in Columbus, OH.

Hannah [55 kg], a student-athlete representing Lenior Rhyne University put up a strong 70 kg snatch and a 90 kg clean and jerk for a 160 kg total. Her clean and jerk earned Bronze and the 160 kg total was good for a 4th place finish and earned All American honors.

Avery [87 kg], a student at Northern Virginia Community College, was successful on 5 of 6 attempts and produced personal bests in the snatch, the clean and jerk and for total- 97 kg/123 kg/220 kg. Avery's lifts and total were good to sweep Gold medals, be crowned University National Champion and earn All American honors.
